Fixed < Growth ❤️ the mindset of wanting to ch Fixed < Growth ❤️ the mindset of wanting to channel our abilities to dedicate ourselves to being better and resilient in life means understanding we never are done or fixed. Growth mindset mentality means hearing hard things sometimes and knowing it’s time to put in the hard work. I LOVE having a growth mindset and have put in really dedicated and focused efforts on myself over the last five years. I kind of think of it like tattoos-once you get one you kind of can’t stop-once you start healing and growing you can’t stop... funny thing is we are never healed or fixed we are constantly being challenged to confront our feelings and experiences as they manifest in our bodies. ▪️ I use a closet analogy a lot when referencing past experiences or traumas. We all have a closet in our minds with shelves, on the shelves are boxes with a label titling the experience or trauma. Sometimes triggers shift what boxes are at arms reach, sometimes experiences move them around. But the boxes are never completely removed from the closet, just some move up higher in there so we don’t see them or access them regularly. Just because you “unpacked” that metaphorical box once doesn’t mean you won’t have to do it again, it’s just moved to a shelf that’s less accessible. ▪️ Tools to help tidy these boxes matter. Kindness to yourself matters. Your village of support matters. Grateful for these little squares that connect us to incredibly kind, loving and powerful community. ▪️
